The Gardens

The garden comprise a succession of nine ‘enclosures’, each designed with a particular character and colour and has a coherent narrative.

Hedges of beech and privet create external and internal boundaries and provide as well in summer as in winter shelter and structure to the garden.

A walk in the garden offers several routes and cross views,  passing shady

areas,  lush sunny borders, water gardens, terraces, several gazebos, pergolas, intimate and more open spaces.

A wide range of roses, climbers, perennials, bulbs, annuals and ornamental grasses, trees and shrubs complete the garden. Added pleasure comes from surprises: a secret garden or a sculpture or structure that you come upon in an unexpected place.

The borders have been created with a passion for plants and much care is

taken with the composition of colour and structure. The color-theme consist for instance of all shades of lilac, pink, purple and white in a large double border, or an experimental border in red and also of a blue garden.

Some parts have been arranged in subtle shades but a challenge to create an orange/apricot garden will be faced as well.

The garden has its own dynamic, ever changing and always full of colour.
